Anh, Emily in Paris… it’s a series from which you can get plenty of clothing inspiration! Although for me it’s a series with quite a love-hate relationship (seriously, that’s really not how a social media job works….)
I had almost the exact same job myself, it’s IRL anything but that glam 😉 and I regularly yell at my screen, it is a fun mindless series to watch.
Such one to just binge and enjoy all the gorgeous fashion (except Emily’s own looks … totally not my thing, lol) and cute hairstyles and makeup. And of Paris, of course.
But for me, preferably without that American sausage on top!
Personally, I do think it’s a shame that so many of the clothes are designer clothes, I really love some of the looks and outfits…. but just don’t have the budget for expensive designers à la Balmain or Chanel.
So very occasionally a Zara item creeps into the lineup, but often it is not affordable fashion.
In the latest season of Emily in Paris (it will launch on Netflix on December 21, 2022), Emily has a new hairstyle: a hairstyle with bangs!

Emily in Paris: fashion & outfits
Would you like to wear the style of Emily in Paris yourself? I like to list some great model looks to show you, from Emily with her flamboyant fashion to the more subdued Paris Chic of Sylvie and model Camille.
The outfits are provided by stylist Patricia Field (known from Sex and the City, but not from its sequel “And Just Like That”).

Hehe, I couldn’t help but start with this one. I’m really not a fan of Emily’s style in the series…. Way too overdone for me. When this quote came along in the series, I really sat and laughed:#ringarde

Camille outfits
Then I’m much more a fan of Camille’s outfits, honestly. Not all wearable in everyday life, but much better than Emily’s outfits anyway.
I really liked this outfit of Camille: a khaki/green blouse combined with a beautiful leather skirt. Perfect for her, those colors look great on her!

One of the all-time great 90’s fashion trends: the fisherman’s hat. Can’t help but think Camille looks great in that look.
Say Parisian fashion, you say suits and tweed à la Coco Chanel, right? So this sheath suit was definitely a big hit!
Another cute dress ideal to wear as a fall dress: a plaid mini dress. Camille likes to wear fashions from the 1960s (or those inspired by them).
Once again the beautiful tweed coat suit, this way you can see the detail well.
I also think this is a very Parisian look: a mini skirt with buttons on the side
Sylvie outfits
Very honestly, I myself am the most fan of Sylvie’s outfits: sexy, but still classy and understated when needed. No overly garish attire, but she does put herself in the spotlight with her beautiful outfits.
It’s pretty obvious that I like her outfits the best, I guess? 😀 She really represents the Parisian style that has become so famous in recent years.

So while I’m not a big fan of the fashion Emily wears, I often find her hairstyles and hairstyles very cute!
Her effortless waves, which I love! Then again, she has an insanely beautiful brown hair color!
But even when her hair is a little more straightened, it looks amazing on her!
Or you wear a high ponytail. Also. That coat, I’m really in love with it!
Camille hairstyles
We can describe Camille’s hairstyles much more as “effortless chic”. Whereas Emily’s hairstyles often look sleek, Camille opts a lot for a just-out-of-bed style.
Or she opts for a vampy hairstyle like the one below! Very vintage and looks great on her!
Also very pretty: a fishtail braid!

That dark red lipstick suits actress Lily Collins (who plays Emily), really insanely beautiful. She can take it just fine with her dark hair, dark eyes and light skin.
If they ever need someone to play Snow White?
We already saw Emily in a dark red lipstick, but a bright red lipstick also looks very nice on her.
The men in Emily in Paris: fashion
What really struck me, most of the men in the series are incredibly well-dressed (although Julien and Luc’s looks are sometimes very daring and out there). Is that because almost all of them are French men?
